Last Friday the whole school made kites. Imogen and I worked together we used bamboo and put it into a cross shape then we wrapped string around the middle of the cross we then put silage rap around the bamboo then we made holes in the middle of the kite and we tied some string through the hole and went out to fly our kite but it crashed into the ground and the bamboo snapped so we took the kite back inside to fix the bamboo. I taped the bamboo back together to try the kite out but it still didn't fly so I decided to make my own kite I made it out of bamboo ,string ,tape and a garbage bag.
WoW Lexie!! Your kite looks so good!! Sorry that it crashed, I don't think that was meant to happen. But it is so good that you didn't give up and made another!

ReplyDeleteSo great to read that you didn't give up. The kite crashed and broke but instead of chucking it in the bin you went inside and fixed it. Wetiweti ana! Wicked!
